Sell digital products and services
PDFs, ebooks, courses, lashes, cleaning and other things you don't keep in stock.
In Salescom: Catalog > Add product
The catalog isn't only for things on a shelf. When you add a product, choose What are you selling?:
- Item: something you deliver or the customer picks up. Phones, clothes, cakes, land, tickets.
- Digital: a file or online access. PDFs, ebooks, templates, courses.
- Service: something you do for the customer. Lashes, nails, cleaning, repairs, training.
Digital products
- They are always available, so there's no stock to count.
- Add the Format, like "PDF, 40 pages", so your assistant can tell customers what they get.
- Put your Selar or Paystack link in Download or payment link. When a customer wants to buy, your assistant sends that link, and they pay and get the file there. Salescom doesn't store or send the file itself.
- They always have an exact price.
- Use the cover image for your catalog, and add 2 or 3 sample pages under it. Your assistant sends the sample pages when a customer asks what's inside.
- Your assistant never asks a digital buyer for a delivery address.
Services
- They are always available. Customers book them.
- Fill in How long it takes, like "2 hours". Your assistant tells customers when they ask.
- Use Starting from when the final price depends on what the customer wants. Your assistant says "from GHS 150", never a fixed figure.
- Add a booking link if you have one. Without one, your assistant hands the chat to your team to agree a time.
- Add photos of your work under the main image. Your assistant sends those, not the main image. Add a short video if you have one.
Ask for price
Choose Ask for price for anything you only price in the chat, such as land or custom work. Your assistant describes it from your details and hands the chat to your team for the price. It never makes up a figure.
